The living is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Llandaff, endowed with £800 royal bounty, and £'200 parliamentary grant, and in the patronage of Thomas Bluett, Esq. The church is dedicated to St. Michael. Here was a Cistercian abbey, the revenue of which was valued at the dissolution at £71.3.2.
