LOUDWATER, a chapelry in the parish of HIGH-WYCOMBE, hundred of DESBOROUGH, county of BUCKINGHAM, 3 miles (S. E.) from High Wycombe, with which the population is returned. The living is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry of Buckingham, and diocese of Lincoln, endowed with £ 1200 private'benefaction, £400 royal bounty, and £2400 parliamentary grant, and in the patronage of certain Trustees. The chapel was built and endowed, in 1788, by W. Davis, Esq.
