LUND, a chapelry in the parish of KIRKHAM, hundred
of AMOUNDERNESS, county palatine of LANCASTER,
2 miles (E. by S.) from Kirkham, with which the
population is returned. The living is a perpetual curacy,
in the archdeaconry of Richmond, and diocese
of Chester, endowed with £1200 private benefaction,
£200 royal bounty, and £1500 parliamentary grant, and
in the patronage of the Vicar of Kirkham.
