LYNFORD, a parish in the hundred of GRIMSHOE,
county of NORFOLK, 5 miles (N. N. E.) from Brandon-
Ferry, containing 52 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual
curacy, in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese
of Norwich. The church is in ruins. Two Roman
urns were dug up in this parish in 1720, and one in
1735, containing ashes and bones.
