The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Cornwall, and diocese of Exeter, rated in the king's books at £15.11.0. The Rev. John Kingdon was patron in 1818. The church is dedicated to St. Marvenne. The Bude and Holsworthy canal passes to the north of the church.
