MARSTON, a parish in the wapentake of LOVEDEN, parts of KESTEVEN, county of LINCOLN, 5 miles (N. by W.) from Grantham, containing 393 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, with that of Hougham, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln, and in the patronage of Sir J. H. Thorold, Bart. The church is dedicated to St. Mary. Dame Margaret Thorold, in 1718, gave land, the income to be applied in teaching poor children, and apprenticing one yearly, with a premium of £5.
