MININGSBY, a parish in the western division of the soke of BOLINGBROKE, parts of LINDSEY, county of LINCOLN, 6 miles (W. by S.) from Spilsby, containing 134 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £9. 8. 6., endowed with £200 private benefaction, and £200 royal bounty, and in the patronage of the King, as Duke of Lancaster. The church is dedicated to St. Andrew.
