MIXBURY, a parish in the hundred of PLOUGHLEY
county of OXFORD, 8 miles (N. by E.) from Bicester
containing, with the hamlet of Fulwell and the township
of Willason, 336 inhabitants. The living is a rectory,
in the archdeaconry and diocese of Oxford, rated
in the king's books at £ 15.9.4., and in the patronage
of the Bishop of Rochester. The church is dedicated
to All Saints. The river Ouse runs through the parish.
