MORTON-MORRELL, a parish in the Warwick division of the hundred of KINGTON, county of WARWICK, 3 miles (N. N. W.) from Kington, containing 257 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Worcester, endowed with £200 private benefaction, and £200 royal bounty, and in the patronage of the Crown. The church is dedicated to the Holy Cross. There is a small endowment, the gift of the Rev. Thomas Harbridge, for the instruction of six children.
