NAUGHTON, a parish in the hundred of COSFORD,
county of SUFFOLK, 2 miles (E.) from Bildeston, containing
155 inhabitants. The living is a discharged
rectory, in the archdeaconry of Sudbury, and diocese
of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £10. 15. The
Rev. W. Edge was patron in 1810. The church is dedicated
to St. Mary.
