NETTLETON, a parish in the southern division
of the wapentake of YARBOROUGH, parts of LINDSEY,
county of LINCOLN, 1 mile (S. by W.) from Caistor,
containing 353 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in
the archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the
king's books at £1Q. 10. 10. The Rev. William Jackson
was patron in 1823. The church is dedicated to
St. John the Baptist. There is a place of worship for
Wesleyan Methodists.
