liberty of WEST-MEDINA, Isle of Wight division of the
county of SOUTHAMPTON, adjacent to the town of
Newport, containing 281 inhabitants. The living is a
discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry and diocese of
Winchester, rated in the king's books at £7, and in the
patronage of the Governor of the Isle of Wight.
