NIGHTON, a chapelry in the parish, of ST-WINNOW,
WEST hundred, county of CORNWALL, 2 miles
(E. by N.) from Lostwithiel. The population is returned
with the parish. The chapel, dedicated to St.
Necton, has lately received an addition of one hundred
and twenty free sittings, the Incorporated Society
for the enlargement of churches and chapels having
granted £60 towards defraying the expense.
