NORTH-HILL, a parish in the northern division of EAST hundred, county of CORNWALL, 6 miles (S.W. by S.) from Launceston, containing 1089 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Cornwall, and diocese, of Exeter, rated in the king's books at £36. 6. 8., and in the patronage of Mrs. Darley. The church is dedicated to St. Torney. There is a place of worship for Wesleyan Methodists.
