liberty of ST-ALBAN'S, county of HERTFORD, 1 mile
(W. N. W.) from Baldock, containing 313 inhabitants.
The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry
of St. Alban's, and diocese of London, rated in the
king's books at £5. 6. 8., endowed with £200 royal
bounty, and in the patronage of the Rev. R. W. Sutton.
The church is dedicated to St. Nicholas.
