NUTHILL, a ruin, formerly a parish in the southern division of the wapentake of HOLDERNESS, East riding of the county of YORK, 8 miles (E. by N.) from Kingston upon Hull. The living is rated in the king's books at £2, as a rectory, in the archdeaconry of the East riding, and diocese, of York: but the church is in ruins, and there is now only one farm-house, which is assessed with the parish of Burstwick.
