OCKHAM, a parish in the second division of the
hundred of WOKING, county of SURREY, 1 mile (E.)
from Ripley, containing 565 inhabitants. The living is
a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Surrey, and diocese
of. Winchester, rated in the king's books at £11. 2. 1,
and-in the patronage of Lord King. The church, dedicated
to All Saints, has portions in the decorated, and
some in the later English, style.
