ORCHARDLEIGH, a parish in the hundred of
FROME, county of SOMERSET, 2 miles (N.) from Frome
containing 27 inhabitants. The living is a discharged
rectory, in the archdeaconry of Wells, and diocese of
Bath and Wells, rated in the king's books at £2, and
endowed with £ 600 royal bounty. T. S. Champneys,
Esq. was patron in 1818.
