OSBOURNBY, a parish in the wapentake of AVELAND, parts of KESTEVEN, county of LINCOLN, 2 miles (N.) from Falkingharn; containing 428 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £7. 0. 5., endowed with £200 private benefaction, and £200 royal bounty, and in the patronage of the Duke of Devonshire. The church, dedicated to St. Peter and St. Paul, is principally in the decorated style of architecture; it contains some stalls, the remains of a roodloft, screen, and a large ancient font.
