OXHEY, a hamlet in the parish of WATFORD, hundred
of CASHIO, or liberty of ST-ALBAN's, county of
HERTFORD, containing 560 inhabitants. An earthen
vessel, containing some Roman seals, was, a few years
since, turned up here by the plough.
