PARKSTON, a chapelry in the parish of CANFORD
MAGNA, hundred of COGDEAN, Shaston (East) division
of the county of DORSET, 2miles (E. by N.) from Poole,
containing 385 inhabitants. The chapel contains four
hundred free sittings, towards defraying the expense of
which the Incorporated Society for building and enlarging
churches and chapels contributed £500.
