PASTON, a parish in the liberty of PETERBOROUGH,
county of NORTHAMPTON, 2 miles (N. by W.) trom
Peterborough, containing, with the hamlets of Gunthorpe,
Walton, and Werrington, 764 inhabitants. The
living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Northampton,
and diocese of Peterborough, rated in the king's
books at £13. 7. 11., and in the patronage of the Bishop
of Peterborough. The church is dedicated to All
Saints.
