PENTERRY, a parish in the upper division of the
hundred of CALDICOTT, county of MONMOUTH, Sj miles
(N. by W.) from Chepstow, containing 60 inhabitants.
The living is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry
and diocese of Llandaff, endowed with £1000 royal
bounty, and in the patronage of the Prebendary of Caire
in the Cathedral Church of Llandaff.
