county of HERTFORD, 3 miles (N. W.) from
Hitchin, containing 630 inhabitants. The living is a
vicarage, united with the rectory of Icldeford, in the
archdeaconry of Huntingdon, and diocese of Lincoln.
The church is dedicated to St. Mary.
