PRIORS-LEE, a chapelry in the parish of SHIFFNALL,
Shiffnall division of the hundred of BRIMSTREE,
county of SALOP, 3 miles (W. N. W.) from Shiffnall,
containing, with Oakengale, 1851 inhabitants. The
living is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry of
Salop, and diocese of Lichfield and Coventry, endowed
with. £ 600 private benefaction, £ 600 royal bounty, and
£1400 parliamentary grant, and in the patronage of
the Vicar of Shiffnall.
