QUARRINGTON, a parish in the wapentake of ASWARDHURN, parts of KESTEVEN, county of LINCOLN, 1 mile (S.W.byS.) from Sleaford, containing 132 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £7. 2. 3., and in the patronage of the Marquis of Bristol. The church, dedicated to St. Botolph, is partly in the early, and partly in the decorated, style of English architecture; the font is of later date and curiously shaped.
