RADCLIVE, a parish in the hundred of BUCKINGHAM, and county of BUCKINGHAM, 1 mile (W.) from Buckingham, containing, with the hamlet of Chackmore, 296 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Buckingham, and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £8.1.3., and in the patronage of the Warden and FeUows of New College, Oxford. The church is dedicated to St. John the Evangelist. The river Ouse runs through the parish. Here was formerly a chantry, but there are no remains of it. The old manor-house has been converted into a farm-house.
