RAITHBY, a parish in the eastern division of the
soke of BOLINGBROKE, parts of LINDSEY, county of
LINCOLN, 2 miles ("W. N.W.) from Spilsby, containing
180 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory,
in the archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln, rated in
the king's books at £6. 14. 7, and in the alternate
patronage of the Crown, and Charles Chaplin, Esq.
The church is dedicated to the Holy Trinity. There is
a place of worship for Wesleyan Methodists.
