RAMSHOLT, a parish in the hundred of WILFORD, county of SUFFOLK, 7 miles (S. S. E.) from Woodbridge, containing 174 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry of Suffolk, and diocese of Norwich, endowed with a rent-charge of £16 per ann. private benefaction, and £600 royal bounty. J. Pennington, Esq. was patron in 1813. The church is dedicated to All Saints. The navigable river Deben runs on the west, where there is a dock.
