REDBOURN, a parish in the eastern division of the wapentake of MANLEY, parts of LINDSEY, county of LINCOLN, 2 miles (E. N. E.) from Kirton, containing 270 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry of Stow, and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £5. 10., endowed with £200 private benefaction, and £200 royal bounty, and in the patronage of the Duke of St. Albans. The church is dedicated to St. Andrew; part of the tower is ancient, and the rest of the building modern.
