RENNINGTON, a chapelry in the parish of EMBLETON, southern division of BAMBROUGH ward, county of NORTHUMBERLAND, 3 miles (N. E. by N.) from Alnwick, containing 272 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, united with that of Rock, in the archdeaconry of Northumberland, and diocese of Durham, endowed with £400 private benefaction, and £800 royal bounty. The chapel, dedicated to All Saints, is very ancient.
