of HARTISMERE, county of SUFFOLK, half of a mile
(S. by W.) from Botesdale, containing 705 inhabitants.
The living is a discharged rectory, with Rickinghall
Inferior, in the archdeaconry of Sudbury, and diocese
of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £9. 13. 11.,
and in the patronage of George St. Vincent Wilson, Esq.
The church is dedicated to St. Mary.
