of EAST-MEON which is in the hundred of EAST-MEON,
Alton (South) division of the county of SOUTHAMPTON,
6 miles (W. by N.) from Petersfield. The population is
returned with the parish. It "is within the jurisdiction
of the Cheyney Court held at Winchester every Thursday,
for the recovery of debts to any amount.
