SCOULTON, a parish in the hundred of WAYLAND,
county of NORFOLK, 4 miles E.) from Watton, containing
339 inhabitants. The living is a discharged
rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Norwich,
rated in the king's books at £10. 4. 2., and in the patronage
of John Weyland, Esq. The church, dedicated
to All Saints, has a low steeple, the basement being
square, and the upper story octangular. At the end of
each aisle there was formerly a chapel.
