SHUCKBURGH (UPPER), a parish in the Southam
division of the hundred of KNIGHTLOW, county of
WARWICK, 65 miles (E.) from Southam, containing 47
inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, in the
archdeaconry of Coventry, and diocese of Lichfield and
Coventry, and in the patronage of Sir F. Shuckburgh,
Bart. The church is dedicated to St. John the Baptist.
