SLINDON, a township in the parish of ECCLESHALL,
northern division of the hundred of PIREHILL,
county of STAFFORD, containing 130 inhabitants. It is
within the peculiar jurisdiction of the Prebendary of
Eccleshall in the Cathedral Church of Lincoln.
