SNELLAND, a parish in the western division of the wapentake of WRAGGOE, parts of LINDSEY, county of LINCOLN, 5 miles (W. N. W.) from Wragby, containing 133 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £3. 17- 6., and in the patronage of Earl Brownlow. The church is dedicated to All Saints.
