SOTWELL, a parish in the hundred of MORETON,
county of BERKS, 1 mile (N. W. by W.) from Wallingford,
containing 145 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual
curacy, annexed to the rectory of St. Leonard,
Wallingford, in the archdeaconry of Berks, and diocese
of Salisbury. The church is dedicated to St. James.
