SOULBURY, a parish in the hundred of COTTESLOE, county of BUCKINGHAM, 3 miles ("W. N. W.) from Leighton-Buzzard, containing 547 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry of Buckingham, and diocese of Lincoln. Sir John Lovett, Bart, was patron in 1808. The church is dedicated to All Saints. There is a place of worship for Wesleyan Methodists. Robert Levet, in 1710, and the Rev. John Sambee, in 1728, liberally endowed with land a school for twenty-four boys and girls, one of the former to be apprenticed annually.
