STANDERWICK, a parish in the hundred of FROME,
county of SOMERSET, 4 miles (E. N. E.) from Frome,
containing 86 inhabitants. The living is a rectory,
annexed to that of Beckington, in the archdeaconry
of Wells, and diocese of Bath and Wells, rated in the
king's books at £2. 9. 7.
