county of NORTHAMPTON, 4 miles (S. E.) from Rock-,
ingham, containing 297 inhabitants. The living is a
perpetual curacy, annexed to the vicarage of Brigstock;
in the archdeaconry of Northampton, and diocese of
Peterborough. The church is dedicated to St. Peter.
