STOCK-DENNIS, a tything in the parish of TINTINHULL, and hundred
of TINTINHULL, county of SOMERSET, containing
10 inhabitants. This was formerly a parish, the living
of which was a rectory, valued in 1294 at £20, but the
church having been destroyed, and the parish almost
depopulated, it has long since lost its parochial rights.
