of the hundred of ELMBRIDGE, county of SURREY,
1 mile (S. E. by E.) from Cobham, containing, with the
hamlet of Oakshot, 317 inhabitants. The living is a
rectory, in the archdeaconry of Surrey, and diocese of
Winchester, rated in the Icing's books at £13. 11. 3.
- Smith, Esq. was patron in 1801. The church is dedicated
to St. Mary.
