STRATTON (ST-MICHAEL), a parish in the hundred of DEPWADE, county of NORFOLK, 1 mile (N. by, E.) from St. Mary Stratton, containing 229 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, with that of St. Peter consolidated, in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £6. 12. Qi., and in the "patronage of the Warden and Fellows of New College, Oxford. The church of St. Peter has been long since demolished.
