STRETTON-BASKERVILLE, a parish in the Kirby division of the hundred of KNIGHTLOW, county of WARWICK, 3 miles (E. by S.) from Nuneaton, containing 85 inhabitants. The living is a sinecure rectory, in the archdeaconry of Coventry, and diocese of Lichfield and Coventry, rated in the king's books at A6. Miss Pinchin and Mrs. Wilcox were patronesses in 1822. The church, which was dedicated to All Saints, is in ruins.
