STROXTON, a parish in the wapentake of WINNIBRIGGS-and-THREO,
parts of KESTEVEN, county of
LINCOLN, 3 miles (S. S. W.) from Grantham, containing
140 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, in
the archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the
king's books at £3. 8. 65., and in the patronage of
Sir W. E. Welby, Bart. The church is dedicated to
All Saints.
