STUTCHBURY, a parish in the hundred of KING'S-SUTTON, county of NORTHAMPTON, 5 miles (N. by W.) from Brackley, containing 32 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Northampton, and diocese of Peterborough, rated in the king's books at £3. 6. 8., and in the patronage of the University of Oxford. The church, which was dedicated to St. John the Baptist, is destroyed.
