SUTTON (ST-EDMUND'S), a chapelry in the parish of LONG-SUTTON, wapentake of ELLOE, parts of HOLLAND, county of LINCOLN, 10 miles (E. by N.) from Crowland, containing 549 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln, endowed with £600 royal bounty, and in the patronage of the Vicar of Long Sutton.
