SUTTON-CHENEY, a chapelry in the parish of MARKET-BOSWORTH, hundred of SPARKENHOE, county of LEICESTER, 2 miles (S. S. E.) from Market-Bosworth, containing 354 inhabitants. The chapel, dedicated to St. James, has lately received an addition of one hundred and fifty sittings, of which one hundred and twenty are free, the Incorporated Society for the enlargement of churches and chapels having granted £60 towards defraying the expense. There is a place of worship for Wesleyan Methodists. The Ashby de la Zouch canal passes through the parish.
