TATTERSET, a parish in the hundred of GALLOW,
county of NORFOLK, 5 miles (W.) from Fakenham, containing
150 inhabitants. The living is a discharged
rectory, with which that of Tatterford is consolidated,
in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese of Norwich,
rated in the king's books at £11. 1. 8., and in
the patronage of Sir Charles Chad, Bart. The church
is dedicated to St. Andrew.
